How much does aged care cost at Narangba Aged Care?
Costs depend on the type of care, your income and assets, and the room you choose. Fees may include: – Basic Daily Fee (set by the government) – Means-Tested Care Fee (if applicable) – Accommodation cost (RAD, DAP, or a combination). We’re happy to talk you through your options, and you can use the My Aged Care fee estimator to get an idea. Alternatively check out our Rooms & Fees page for all of our current charges.
How do I apply for aged care?
Start with the Single Assessment System (SAS) — it’s free and helps determine your care needs. Your GP can help with a referral, or you can book one through My Aged Care. After approval, contact us to discuss next steps.
What room types are available at Narangba Aged Care?
All our rooms are private with ensuite bathrooms. Each of our households accommodate up to 20 residents. Each is designed to feel like home, with access to gardens, shared lounges, and a sense of community.
Do you provide dementia support?
Yes. Narangba Aged Care offers dedicated memory support in a safe, calming environment. Our team is trained in dementia-specific care, communication, and behaviour support — ensuring dignity, safety, and comfort for every resident
Can I book short-term or respite care?
Yes. We offer planned and emergency respite care. This gives carers a break and offers short stays for recovery after hospital. Respite residents enjoy the same care, meals, and activities as permanent residents.
Is palliative care available?
Yes. Narangba Aged Care provides compassionate end-of-life care, focusing on comfort, dignity and family support. We work closely with GPs and palliative specialists to ensure holistic care that respects each person’s wishes.
